Preschoolers Eplore and Play at 2nd Annual Preserve Junior Camp

The Preserve again partnered with early childhood educator and consultant, Cassandra Kruthoff, to host a week of summer camp for preschoolers in the Eleuthera community between the ages of 3 and 6. The camp is inspired by the belief that it is never too early for kids to explore nature and the earlier the better! The week was focused on fun! Activities were designed to engage the preschoolers imagination through songs, stories, and crafts. Thank you to "Miss Cassie" (as the little ones refer to her) and our volunteers, Kendra and Kache!

Eleuthera, Bahamas, March _ 2011. The Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve, a 25-acre sanctuary created jointly by the Bahamas National Trust and the Leon Levy Foundation, will celebrate its Grand Opening at 11 a.m., March 24 in Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera.
