On October 26th The Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve transformed into a realm of thrills, laughter, and Halloween enchantment for our annual Spooktacular event. This year’s Spooktacular was a huge success, bringing families from across the community together for an unforgettable night of fun and excitement.
Our guests were treated to a range of activities, from Halloween-themed games and creative crafts to delicious treats and lively dancing. The costume contest was a highlight, with kids dressed as superheroes, animals, and spooky characters showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm.
But the real adventure was on our famous Spooky Trail! Only the bravest kids ventured through, encountering mysterious decorations and a few spooky surprises along the way. Their reactions—from gasps to giggles to a few tears —made the night extra special.
We couldn’t have made this night possible without our dedicated staff, volunteers, and partners who dressed up, got into character, and worked tirelessly to make the event a true Halloween celebration. From setting up the Spooky Trail to handing out treats, their energy and commitment brought Spooktacular to life.
A special thank you to the Island School, Aliv, Governor’s Harbour, and Jimmy’s Wine & Spirits for supporting Spooktacular 2024.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s Spooktacular—and we look forward to inviting the community to our next event, a Christmas celebration on Saturday, December 21st!
