Habit: Leucospora multifida grows as an herbaceous perennial to 25 cm in height. The leaves are arranged oppositely, alternately or whorled, each to 3 cm in length, pinnatifid, each lobe with an acute to obtuse apex, and notched/dentate margin. Vegetation with glandular pubescence.
The complete, perfect, zygomorphic flowers are solitary or in pairs, in leaf axils. The calyx has 5 fused at their base, green, glandular pubescent, sepals. The corolla has 5 white to pale blue, glabrous, fused into a tube, petals. There are 4 stamens fused to the corolla tube. The ovary is superior with 2 locules and numerous seeds. The fruit is a capsule.
Habitat: Leucospora multifida grows in wet Human Altered areas (yards and gardens, low lying areas along roadsides).
Distribution: Leucospora multifida is not native to the Lucayan Archipelago. It is native to the central United States.
Medicinal/Cultural/Economic usage: Leucospora multifida is not known to be used medicinally in the Lucayan Archipelago.
